In 2005, Sopaf acquired 49% of Polis Fondi Sgr, a company specializing in the management of real estate funds which was set up in 1998.
Polis Fondi Sgr.p.A. manages the Polis Fund, a closed-end real estate investment fund promoted to the retail market that was set up in June 2000 and has been publicly traded since 2001, and the Soreo I fund, a closed-end property fund reserved for qualified investors, that was set up with Sopaf Group's contribution of assets. As of 30 June 2009, the Polis Fund had net assets of around € 289 million.
