Sopaf Capital Management SGR S.p.A. (previously named Cartesio Alternative Investments SGR S.p.A), an asset management company specializing in hedge funds, was set up in 2002 and is totally owned by Sopaf. Sopaf Capital Management SGR manages the following funds:

In May 2008, the company obtained the Bank of Italy's authorization to launch the “Sopaf Global Private Equity Funds” fund.
