Milan, 2 September 2008 – With reference to the press release of 29 August 2008 regarding comments on the half-year consolidated financial report at 30 June 2008, Sopaf wishes to announce that the shareholding Banca Network Investimenti S.p.A. has today approved its half-year statements at 30 June 2008, reporting net earnings in line with the pro-quota result included in the earlier Sopaf Group half-year consolidated financial report at 30 June 2008.

The manager responsible for preparing the company's financial statements, Alberto Ciaperoni, declares under comma 2 of Article 154-(ii) of the Finance Consolidation Act that the information presented in this press release corresponds to the results documented in the company accounts and balance sheets.
